Every year, around 400 members of the Dutch plant science community come together for a two-day meeting filled with inspiring research, new connections, and opportunities for collaboration.

The annual meeting is a great place for young plant scientists to meet experienced researchers from across the Netherlands, learn about the latest developments in plant science, and discover potential collaborations through dedicated mini-meetings.

For alumni living abroad, the event is also a valuable opportunity to reconnect with the Dutch plant science community and keep up with recent developments in the field. Representatives from the plant science industry also attend, bringing additional perspectives and creating opportunities to connect beyond academia.

The 2027 meeting will take place on Monday 5 April and Tuesday 6 2027 in Egmond aan Zee. With its relaxed setting by the coast, the location provides plenty of opportunities for informal conversations and networking.
